What Is Team Roping?

Team roping is a timed rodeo event requiring two riders — a header and a heeler — working in perfect sync. The header ropes the steer's horns while the heeler secures its back legs. The faster the combined time, the better your chances of winning. It demands patience, timing, teamwork, and coordination that can only be built through years of practice.

Our Story

The Salazar Family

Team roping for us isn't just a rodeo event — it has brought us closer as a family. Through years of practice, competition, and shared mornings in the saddle, we've built something that goes beyond trophies. This website is a celebration of that journey.
