Angel Salazar

Angel's early interest in team roping was spurred by his childhood exposure to horses and rodeo. Over time, through regular practice and competition, he has continuously worked to sharpen his roping technique and riding skills.

In the arena, Angel focuses on improving his timing, accuracy, and control during every run. Good partner communication is central to his competitive approach — he knows that a split-second decision can make the difference between a winning time and a miss.

Off the arena, Angel is a college student majoring in Computer Science. Balancing school, work, and rodeo has sharpened his discipline and time management — skills that carry over directly into competition.
